Sublimation purification

Sublimation purification is a method that utilizes the difference in temperature between the sublimation and deposition of a substance to purify it. For materials that use vacuum deposition, such as OLED materials, sublimation purification is generally used to remove metallic impurities and residual solvent that can degrade vacuum quality. In cases where the substance to be purified is not very soluble in organic solvents and cannot be purified by column or recrystallization methods, sublimation purification is used to remove impurities and solvent, increase purity, separate components, and reduce metal components.

Fukui Canon Materials' Sublimation Purification Technology

The substance to be purified is analyzed prior to sublimation to determine the optimum conditions for sublimation. Purification under these conditions enables us to obtain the target compound in high yield and high purity. We can also perform post-purification analysis using techniques in-house such as LC, LC-MS, GC, GC-MS, TG, and ICP-MS.
