Our Strengths
As the only organic chemicals manufacturer in the Canon Group, we have served as the production base for the chemical materials used in Canon products. Applying the material, processing, and mass-production technologies developed here, we actively engage in contract manufacturing.
01 Product Areas
Electronic and Optical Materials
Our chemical materials business has grown around two main areas: electronic materials, such as hole and electron transport materials, and optical materials, such as nano-sized metal oxide sol particles. Applying the material, processing, and mass-production technologies developed here, we actively engage in contract manufacturing.

02 Product Integration Performance
OPC raw materials with a world-class production track record
We have been handling raw materials for organic photoconductors (OPCs) used in multifunction printers and laser beam printers, accumulating over 30 years of technological expertise and maintaining stable production. In particular, we boast a world-class track record in the production of charge generation materials and hole transport materials, both essential for enabling photoelectric conversion.
In-House Manufacturing for Group
Canon Group's Only Synthesis and Purification Plant
As the Canon Group's sole manufacturer of organic chemicals, we strive to grow as the production hub for the chemical materials used in Canon products.
OLED materials used in Canon multifunction printers as next-generation exposure devices
OLED materials used in high-resolution OLED panels for Canon mirrorless cameras
Anti-reflective and chromatic aberration correction agents used extensively in Canon interchangeable lenses
03 High Purity and High Quality
Various Purification Technologies
We employ a number of purification methods, including column purification and sublimation purification, which enables us to provide the optimal purification process suited to the properties of each compound. In particular, we have a proven track record in synthesis with reduced halogen and sulfur content, as well as in monomer synthesis where side reactions such as polymerization have been suppressed and controlled.

04 Development Structure
Commitment to Quality Improvement and Cost Reduction
Supplying OPC raw materials over the years has instilled in us a mindset of process improvement. Our developers, with their extensive experience in organic synthesis, can propose raw material selection and synthesis routes tailored to your quality and cost needs. Even after transitioning to commercial production, we continue to explore ways to improve quality and reduce costs.
Quality Improvement InitiativesProduction-Oriented Development Structure
By considering commercial production scale from the laboratory stage, we aim for a speedy product launch. We have laboratory equipment for reactions, column purification, and sublimation purification, and possess the know-how to establish mass production-scale conditions using only small-scale samples.

05 Quality Assurance
Quality Control System
Our quality control for all products follows Canon's quality management system, approved by the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) as an alternative standard to ISO 9001.

Basic Policy on Product Safety
To ensure we supply products that satisfy our customers, we have established four basic policies that we adhere to.
- Compliance with laws and regulations
- Ensuring product safety
- Response to product-related incidents
- Formulation and implementation of voluntary action plans
